GeneFix is a new very easy to use DNA saliva collection device designed to store and stabilise DNA in 1 ml or 2 ml saliva samples.

The collection tube is pre-filled with a fully tested non-toxic stabilisation buffer, and the simple screw-on funnel enables the saliva sample to be given directly into the stabilisation buffer. The unique funnel design prevents spillages and flow back, and the collection tube is fully specified for sample transport and storage.
DNA stabilised at room temperature for 5 years* before extraction.

How to use this product.
A new version of these saliva collectors is also available: Saliva DNA Fluidx Collectors. This new collector has the same features as the Standard GeneFix Saliva Collector and include a bar code on the tube.
In addition, there is an option available that includes two swabs as additional help for sampling.
