This quantitation\nallows the early detection of the graft injury and has demonstrated to be more\nsensible than serum creatinine in the early diagnose of renal rejection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore,\nsome studies have been published that show the utility of this test for monitoring\nthe effectiveness of the treatment for acute rejection, as well as for the\ndetection of the BK virus nephropathy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dlongwood.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/CareDX_AlloSeqcfDNA-grafico-1024x424.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3932\" title=\"\"><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a\nnon-invasive test, since the recommended sample is plasma, and the results can\nbe obtained in less than 24 hours. It uses 202 SNPs to precisely quantify the\nproportion of donor derived cfDNA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The library\npreparation can be performed in less than 3 hours and it consists in a\nmultiplex PCR in which the SNP-specific and index PCRs occur in the same\nreaction.
