nCounter Neuropathology Panel

The Neuropathology Panel is designed for a comprehensive study of genes involved in six fundamental themes of neurodegeneration: neurotransmission, neuron-glia interaction, neuroplasticity, cell structure integrity, neuroinflammation, and metabolism.

This panel has been developed for research of Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Frontotemporal Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, and other neurological disorders. It will allow you to discover biomarkers, to develop signatures associated with neurodegeneration and novel therapies.

It includes 770 genes (request list) across 23 pathways and processes involved in the onset and progression of neurodegenerative disease.

For more information about the pathways and processes included in the panel, or the quantification of the relative abundance of 5 CNS cell types (neurons, astrocytes, microglia, oligodendrocytes and endothelial cells) and 14 peripheral immune cells, please, consult the product file you can download below.

Panel Customization

The Neuropathology Panel could be combined with a Panel Plus, which will allow you to add up to 55 genes chosen by the client.
