Grant Details

  • The grant is open to all researchers who have attended the Workshop in person from all fields of research. They must also be a first-time Singleron customer.
  • Singleron Biotechnologies will award the most impactful proposal with 2-reaction manual GEXSCOPE™ Single Cell RNA Library Kit for free.
  • The chip supplied will be the Standard Density (SD) Chip with a capture capacity of 3000–20000 cells.
  • Diagnóstica Longwood will provide the selected project investigator with a sequencing cartridge and support throughout the experimental process.
  • Diagnóstica Longwood and Singleron Biotechnologies are not responsible for the costs of additional reagents required.
  • All participants are able to review the additional materials and reagents in the protocol.

  • Sample types: Fresh dissociated tissue or cells with high cell viability: recommended >90% cell viability.
  • Applicants should submit an abstract of up to 500 words by 23th May 2025, outlining how they would use Singleron’s single-cell RNA sequencing kit to advance their research.

Terms & Conditions

Deadline for applications:

The deadline for applications is 23:59 CET, May 23th 2025. Please, fill in the application form which should include a short summary of their project and objectives (maximum 500 words). In case of doubts or difficulties in sending the application, please contact info@dlongwood.com.

Eligibility and Requirements:

Applicants must attend the IRB Workshop held at the IRB on 5th May 2025 and work in a position performing life sciences research. Recipients must be over 18 years of age. They must also be able to provide the additional materials specified in the protocol (see link above) and have the resources to test cell viability.

Members of the immediate families of Singleron Biotechnologies, Diagnóstica Longwood & Citogen employees and directors, and/or people living in the same household as such people, are ineligible to participate in this grant program.

Grant Award:

The grant recipient will be awarded with:

  • 2-reaction manual GEXSCOPE™ Single Cell RNA Library Kit. The chip supplied will be the Standard Density (SD) Chip with a capture capacity of 3000–20000 cells.
  • Sequencing cartridge and support throughout the experimental process.

In case the winner does not have a sequencer. Projects will be run in core facilities of Citogen lab at Zaragoza, Spain.

Publication of project results:

Upon completion of the project, the grant winner agrees to participate in at least one of the following activities related to the publicity of the specific project, the specific details of the applicable activity being agreed jointly and in good faith by Diagnóstica Longwood S.L., Citogen, Singleron Biotechnologies and the winner: webinar, case study presentation, publication in blog and/or on the Diagnóstica Longwood S.L and/or Singleron Biotechnologies website, or poster presentation.

The winner agrees that Diagnóstica Longwood S.L., Citogen and Singleron Biotechnologies shall have the right to publicly announce the winner’s name and research topic and to use, on an anonymous basis, data from the winner’s project in various applications, including marketing materials and seminars/workshops.

All applicants agree that Diagnóstica Longwood S.L., Citogen and Singleron Biotechnologies may process the personal data he or she provides as part of the application, including sharing such data with Diagnóstica Longwood S.L’s partners, collaborators and other third parties who are obligated to keep the data confidential, and in accordance with Diagnóstica Longwood S.L. privacy policies available at https://www.dlongwood.com/en/privacy-policy/

Award recipients may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, a publicity release, and other appropriate legal documentation reasonably requested by Diagnóstica Longwood S.L., Citogen and NanoString.

No substitution or transfer of the award is allowed, except if Diagnóstica Longwood S.L. and Singleron Biotechnologies allow it after evaluation of a formal request where the reason for such a transfer must be indicated.

Award winners are responsible for any local tax liability (city, state, or federal) occurred by winning and accepting the award.

If, for any reason, this grant program may not run as planned for any causes beyond the reasonable control of Diagnóstica Longwood S.L., Citogen and Singleron Biotechnologies. The three companies reserve the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the grant program. Diagnóstica Longwood S.L., Citogen and Singleron Biotechnologies has not made any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, with respect to the grant award and related services, including, without limitation, their quality or fitness for a particular purpose. This program is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law.

These terms and conditions and any action related to this grant program will be governed by the laws of Spain without regard to or application of its conflict of law provisions or your state or country of residence. All claims, legal proceedings or litigation arising in connection with these terms and conditions and this grant program will be brought solely in the federal or state courts located in Zaragoza, Spain, and all applicants consent to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waive any objection as to inconvenient forum. By participating in this grant program, each applicant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these terms and conditions.
