Grant NanoString – Lisboa
Be the first to obtain and publish spatial proteomics data with the GeoMx® Digital Spatial Profiler!

Our service laboratory Citogen launches in collaboration with Nanostring, a research grant that will allow you to study tissue heterogeneity analyzing spatial expression of relevant protein biomarkers in immunology and immuno-oncology in human samples with NanoString’s GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiling (DSP) technology.
Extended deadline for submitting applications!!!
The winners of this grant will have the opportunity to analyze up to 96 areas of illumination (AOIs) in human tissues distributed in 4 slides (maximum).

The awarded profiling reagents included are the Immune Cell Profiling Core panel, which contains 18 key biomarkers in immuno-oncology and immune cell markers (T cells, B cells, macrophages, NK cells, epithelium and stroma) as well as the controls required for the GeoMx DSP assays. In addition, we offer the possibility to increase the number of biomarkers studied including two additional modules with no extra costs:
1.- Immune Activation Status Module: includes additional checkpoint molecules that modulate T-cell activation

2.- Immune Cell Typing Module: Includes an expanded set of cell markers to further delineate cell types (for example T-cell subtyping)

The grant includes all reagents required for processing and nCounter read out of 4 slides at Citogen’s lab (with up to 24 AOIs per slide, 96 AOI for the entire project). It also includes the standard morphology markers kit with these three specific fluorescence-labeled cell typing antibodies to reveal tissue structure (Pan-CK, CD45 and nuclear marker).
We invite all researchers attending the Nanostring’s Spatial Genomics Seminar on the June 23rd 2022 at Instituto Gulbenkian Ciencia, Oeiras Portugal and their respective research groups to apply for this grant by sending an abstract of your project (in Portuguese or English). The prize will be awarded to the proposal with highest impact.
