GenDx-ExoSAP is an enzymatic product designed to remove primers and nucleotides from PCR products, creating a DNA sample ready for sequencing.

    Exonuclease I (ExoI) degrades single-stranded DNA primers.

    Shrimp Alkaline Phosphatase (SAP) dephosphorylates nucleotides.

    Both enzymes are degraded by heat inactivation.

After preparing the GenDx-ExoSAP reaction mix, only 2 μl of GenDx-ExoSAP reaction mix  are added to each of the PCR products.
